Ellen Leathers-Wishart is a self-taught tintype photographer that utilizes the same kind of camera, processes and recipes that photographers from the late 1800's employed in their art form.  

 

The process results in exquisite photos that are highly detailed in a hyper-real way, and spotted with the occasional imperfection that augments the artistic value.
